I see you, avocational singer!

You or your child LOVE to sing! You want to get better at it. You aren’t sure how to achieve that.

That’s where I come in!

I have created this totally inclusive package for the avocational singer, no matter the age, who wants to learn to sing healthfully and confidently.

Adults, kids, and teens are all welcome!

There are many things we will cover in these voice lessons and group classes, including but not limited to: 

  • healthy, age/level appropriate vocal technique

  • inclusive learning materials, fun songs, and game-based education

  • music fundamentals like how to read music, hear the rhythm, and match pitch

  • gain confidence in singing in front of peers, friends, and family

  • prepare for RCM exams

  • prepare for choir or community theatre auditions

  • participate in music festivals

  • perform in-studio classes, recitals, masterclasses, and shows

  • focus on musical creativity and expression!

What you can expect in your singing lessons at JRD Voice Studio:

In my lessons, I treat the whole student, and I meet them where they’re at. At JRD Voice Studio, we focus on making music a lifelong undertaking!

  • You will be open to trying new things [taking risks!] even if you don’t necessarily understand why I’m asking -and you will ask as many questions as you need to!

Love Your "Voce"!

Tuition Package Includes:

Here’s the nuts and bolts of what your package offers you!

1:1 Sessions, 45 minutes

  • 30 1:1 weekly sessions guaranteed during times when the studio is open

  • Studio will be open 40 weeks in a 52-week contract period

    Group Instruction, 90 minutes

  • In addition to your 1:1 sessions, 4 weeks of group class instruction are included in your studio membership for a total of 34 weeks of vocal instruction

  • Please note: during the weeks where group classes are scheduled, there will be NO 1:1 sessions taught

    PLUS

  • 4 bonus weeks

  • Reserved lesson time in Acuity

  • Up to 2x/week Marco Polo asynchronous learning video tool to check-in in between lessons

 

Inclusive Learning Materials:

  • Sheet Music purchase-up to 10 songs per year

  • Personal Singing journal

  • 1 Full Voice Workbook/other theory workbook (appropriate level provided)

  • Recorded accompaniments

  • Access to studio Google drive

  • Recorded lessons in online lesson platform (if desired)

 
 

Performance opportunities

  • RCM exam prep, all levels

  • Live Studio Showcase in June with a band/live musicians

  • Access to age-appropriate masterclass opportunities, if desired

  • Local Music Festival prep, if desired

  • Audition prep for choirs and/or musical theatre productions, if needed/wanted

Cost of the totally inclusive

Love Your “Voce” Package:

$4665 per year

OR

$389 per month

Your tuition membership package INCLUDES 30 guaranteed 1:1 sessions and FOUR Group Class sessions during the 40 weeks the Studio is open.

All Studio closures are factored into the 52-week calendar, along with 4 bonus weeks and 2 teacher flex weeks.

All JRD Voice Studio tuition is based on a 52-week calendar, from whatever date you enroll.
